Overview

The main functions of this card are as follows:

  • Provide externally four Ethernet interfaces (LAN interface); provide internally eight Ethernet data interfaces with FE full duplex mode (WAN interface);
  • This card can work in four modes: 10Mbit/s half duplex, 10Mbit/s full duplex, 100Mbit/s half duplex and 100Mbit/s full duplex. Specific work status is accomplished through auto-negotiation and users can switch work status according to demand;
  • Support three encapsulation modes: (GFP, LAPS and HDLC); cross-connect particle is VC-12;
  • Support back-pressure flow control in half duplex mode;
  • Support IEEE 802.3x flow control in full duplex mode;
  • Support VLAN segmentation based on IEEE802.1Q and port;
  • Support bandwidth limit and QoS function;
  • Accomplish port trunking;
  • Support remote download function of BCT and FPGA software;
  • Support IGMP multicast protocol; can decrease network flow effectively in the case of multimedia transmission.
